(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - Noted religious scholar and Imam-e-Hai, Peer Ghulam Muhammad Naqashbandi passed away at his Bandipore resident on Friday night.
Naqashbandi, 93, who was ailing since a long time, died at his residence last night.
A renowned religious scholar, Naqashbandi provided religious instructions and guidance to a large number of people.
Amidst pro-Islam slogans, thousands of people attended his funeral prayers at Eidgah Bandipore this afternoon.
